Sundermann was a student of Andres Segovia) at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels, where he graduated with honors in 1984.<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>Bert Lams is a founding member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/cgtrio.com\/\">California Guitar Trio<\/a> (CGT). In 1993, the California Guitar Trio released their first recording &#8216;Yamanashi Blues&#8217; on Discipline Records.<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>CGT\u2019s 16 albums, streamed over 65 million times on Pandora, offer diverse snapshots of the group\u2019s mercurial muse. The trio\u2019s most recent release &#8216;Elegy&#8217;, released at the height of the Covid -19 pandemic, is a beautifully selected compilation of new, original music by the California Guitar Trio, mingled with pieces by composers they met in their travels all over the world.<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>Other highlights include Masterworks: an album of classical works with expansive takes on Bach, Beethoven, Arvo P\u00e4rt, and Schubert.<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>Besides the CGT, Bert Lams has released four albums:<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>2006: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paypal.com\/ncp\/payment\/QLHK8MYDWW4X4\">NASCENT<\/a>, featuring Bert&#8217;s transcripts of Bach Preludes for solo steel string guitar.<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>2013: <a href=\"https:\/\/tomgriesgraber.com\/product\/634399-unnamed-lands-cd\">UNNAMED LANDS<\/a>, a duet CD with chapman stick player <a href=\"https:\/\/thossounds.com\/\">Tom Griesgraber<\/a>.<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>2016: LONG AGO, with Italian guitarist <a href=\"https:\/\/fabiomittino.com\/\">Fabio Mittino.<\/a> This album contains music from Gurdjieff\/De Hartmann, arranged for two guitars.<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>2019: MOVIMENTI, a second album with Fabio Mittino, with music for sacred dances, composed by Gurdjieff\/De Hartmann.<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>2020: MUSIC OF THE STARS, a third album with Fabio Mittino, featuring the compositions of Thomas de Hartmann, arranged for guitar.<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong>2025: A LIFE IN MUSIC, released by the prestigious label <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pentatonemusic.com\/shop\/\">PENTATONE<\/a>, with 27 compositions by <a href=\"https:\/\/mittinolamsmusic.com\/a-life-in-music\">Thomas de Hartmann<\/a>, in chronological order, in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/fabiomittino.com\/\">Fabio Mittino<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong><\/strong><br \/><br \/><br \/><\/h5>\r\n<p><strong><\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bert Lams studied classical guitar with Monique Vigneron and Albert Sundermann (A.
